Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for my cousin Tim and his girlfriend Jillian. It was an awesome day and so fun to have all of the family at our house. Tim and Jillian are due June 25th with a little girl. . .Hayden Riley Nicholas and I am so excited to meet her! I'm going down to San Diego in July for a week to see them and stay with my cousin Lisa and her family. It's always fun to see her little girl, Paige too cause she's growing so fast and getting so big!

Johnny is three months old!

We can hardly believe how big he is and how fast it is all going. He smiles like crazy now and is so much better at focusing on things he's looking at. He follows you with his eyes and will mimic your faces that you make at him. He loves it when people whistle at him or kiss his little monkey toes. We've gotten a few little giggles out of him but most of his noises come from him "talking" a lot! His baby mumbling is so cute to listen to. Although we are really enjoying each day as it comes and trying to relish in every moment (because they ARE going by so quickly) we can't wait to see what's in store for us and our little man!

Spring is in the air

Finally the spring cleaning bug has hit me and I cleaned out and organized my closet. After 8 garbage bags full of clothes gone it still looks pretty full!

Bath Time Baby

Johnny's got the cutest little robe and we put it on him after his bath the other night. Notice the tiny little slippers that go with it! He looked like such a little man in it. Can't believe it's a 3-9 month robe and it's already getting too short. We've got a big kid on our hands. 80th percentile. What a little chunker :)

Family Day

We had a really nice family day today. John and I got our new car detailed and it looks awesome. We had a nice breakfast out and walked the dogs and baby around the lake and park. Johnny was in such a good mood all day and was smiling up a storm at his daddy. I swear he's going to laugh out loud any day now!

Quack Quack!

We have this great little lake a block from our house and recently I noticed that two of the ducks on the lake had little furry balls of fluff following them. Turns out they have 4 tiny ducklings. They are so cute and follow mama and daddy duck everywhere. John and I went out to the lake today with the dogs to look at them and they came right up to us! I think people have been feeding them because they weren't hesitant at all.

Our new car!

We finally bought a new car and couldn't be happier! It's an 06 4runner and only has 27K miles on it. It's in great shape and is really what we needed and wanted. I'll be excited if i ever get to drive it!!

Watching John with Johnny is so wonderful. The first time he smiled at his daddy was beautiful and he's starting to smile at him when he gets home. John can get him so wiggly with excitement that it makes us laugh.

Sometimes I really miss my pregnant belly! and on some days I realize that this little baby boy was much easier when he was living in!

so our little Johnny has taken a strong interest in books. We have been reading to him every night and it's amazing to see him focus on every page. He smiles at the pictures too!

The Stichters Visit!

What a great time we had visiting with Meg and Josh Stichter this weekend. It had been way too long since we'd all been able to spend any time together! Plus it was really special for them to get to meet Johnny. Thanks again for coming to visit guys!

There have been so many people that have come to visit baby Johnny. We feel so blessed to have this many people to help us and relish in this awesome time in our lives.
